During her time at UNC, she served as President of the Carolina Mock Trial team and was an Ethics Scholar at the Parr Center for Ethics, roles that allowed her to develop leadership skills and engage deeply with questions of justice and ethics.

Aditi’s commitment to expanding economic opportunity and promoting social equity has been shaped by her diverse experiences across government. She has worked on Capitol Hill in the office of former Democratic Majority Leader Representative Steny Hoyer, gaining firsthand insight into the legislative process and constituent advocacy. She also contributed to the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration and supported high-level engagements at the White House, all of which deepened her understanding of federal policy and the importance of cross-sector collaboration.

Her policy interests include economic equity, voting rights, and women’s rights, which she has explored through public service, legislative work, and academic research. Aditi is driven by a desire to create meaningful, inclusive policy solutions that serve underserved communities and promote greater opportunity for all.

In her free time, Aditi stays engaged with current political developments through outlets like Politico Playbook and is actively involved in civic education and community outreach.
